- Has anyone ever tried crazy quilting?
- Hi fellow crafters, has anyone tried crazy quilting? It is so much fun, with very few rules. A great way to use all different types of fabric as well as embellishments laces beads ,and incorporates embroidery, fabric photos, vintage linen, pieces of fabric from clothing, I found silk cigarette cards (mainly from England and US on ebay) called kensitta flowers dating back to 30's or 40's, they are beautifully embroidered flowers on a small silk cloth, they vary in size from matchbox to postcard. Judith Baker Montano has excellent books on the subject as well as lots of websites dedicated to teaching crazy quilting. The great thing also is that you can start with a small project. Be warned though this becomes addictive.

- Can any one give me some quilting tips. I love piecing my quilts together, but get so frustrated when it comes time to quilt. I don't want to get them professionaly done. I have a Brother quilting machine & use the walking foot, but the fabric still moves & I end up with puckers every now & then. Lots of pins help to reduce this. Wondering if I should move the quilting pins & re-smooth the fabric out to sides as I go. I start in the centre & quilt outwards, as you are suppose to do. Maybe I'm too much of a perfectionist. Can any one help me.
